The consistent further development of the tried-and-tested technologies from the RS-1R opens up new, outstanding possibilities:
Even faster assembly of smallest chips (0201 metric) up to large components of 50 x 150 mm or 74 mm edge length for square components. The base frame of the RS-1R has been completely redesigned for this purpose.
The unique Takumi head covers even more different component heights and thus achieves a decisive speed advantage. The 360° visual component recognition allows the secure detection of user-specific polarity marks.
Thanks to the RFID integration in the nozzles, these can be traced back completely together with the components and boards.
The machine combines the features of a chip shooter with a mounter for large components. The purchase of each special machine type for it eliminates as well as a change of the placement head.

Mounting head and laser recognition system Mounting head design

1HEAD mounting head is used, with a theoretical mounting speed of 47,000 CPH (under ideal conditions), and high-speed mounting is achieved by shortening the moving time from adsorption to mounting.Mounting head variable height recognition sensor: The recognition height is refined from 5 segments to 6 segments (1mm, 6mm, 12mm, 20mm, 25mm, 3mm), optimizing the adaptability of mounting height and improving the actual mounting efficiency.
Dynamic pressure control: Automatically adjust the mounting pressure according to the component type to avoid component damage or nozzle wear and extend the service life.
Laser recognition: Applicable to 0402 (British 01005) to 33.5mm square components, real-time tracking of component height and position, with an accuracy of ±35μm (Cpk≥1), reducing mounting errors caused by nozzle dirt or wear.
Image recognition (VCS camera): supports 54mm, 27mm, and 10mm field of view, and is used for pin bending and solder ball shedding detection of special-shaped components (such as QFP, BGA), with an accuracy of ±30μm. The stability of component recognition can also be enhanced through 3-color lighting technology.

Feeder system
RF Feeder (electric feeder): supports 8mm to 56mm tape feeders, compatible with tube and tray components, with a maximum feeder capacity of 112 stations, improving component supply efficiency.
Smart Feeder technology: automatic material connection and material shortage warning, reducing manual intervention and supporting continuous production.

PCB processing system
Substrate compatibility: standard substrate size: 50×50mm~650×370mm (single clamping), after expansion, supports 950×370mm (double clamping) or optional track extension to 1,200×370mm, suitable for long-sized PCBs such as LED light boards.
Motor-driven support table: Reduce substrate transmission vibration, shorten fixing time, and improve placement accuracy.

Motion control system
Linear motor drive: X/Y axis adopts high-precision linear motor and magnetic suspension technology, combined with 0.001mm resolution linear magnetic scale, to achieve micron-level positioning stability under high-speed motion.
Dual servo Y-axis drive: Optimize track transmission stability, reduce mechanical vibration, and improve placement consistency.

Intelligent functions and software
RFID nozzle management: The nozzle is equipped with RFID tags, and the nozzle maintenance time traceability and quality monitoring are realized through the host reader, which improves the intelligent level of placement quality management.
Offline programming (JANETS): Supports CAD data import, path optimization and simulation debugging, shortens line change time, and improves production line flexibility.
HMS height measurement system (optional): Accurately measure component height deviation, optimize nozzle contact depth, prevent poor absorption or overturning components, and improve absorption rate.

Scalability and maintenance design Modular maintenance

Key components such as nozzles and feeders support quick replacement, and the electric feeder is lubrication-free design to reduce maintenance costs.
Production line compatibility: Can be combined with other JUKI models (such as RX-7R) to achieve a flexible combination of high speed and general functions to meet the production needs of multiple varieties.
